Castle Rock is a wonderful place to live, especially if you like to mountain bike. We have a dedicated bike park (Rhyolite Bike Park) and over 50 miles of single track in and around the town. The Castle Rock Crankers encourage community involvement so our riders and coaches maintain the Rhyolite Bike Park with "Dig Days" on the second Tuesday April through October every year.

Our riders donate hundreds of hours each year updating and maintaining the session zone and bike trails at Rhyolite through the Castle Rock POST program. The Golden Pick is awarded by the Colorado High School Cycling League to the team with the most volunteer hours (per rider) in a single season. The team has been recognized by the Colorado High School League with the "Golden Pick" award multiple times!

DONATIONS & GENEROSITY

Castle Rock Youth Cycling Club a/k/a The Crankers is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) club that covers operational costs with team fees for rider participation and donations.

Any donation is greatly appreciated by the club. Thank you in advance for your donation. If you would like to donate to the club, please fill out the attached form, and use the shopping cart to donate. Because we are a non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible!

Please note that after donating we will send you an email with our non-profit 501 (c)(3) paperwork attached for your records for tax purposes.

What does a High School Mountain Bike team have to do with Wealth Advisors?

​The Castle Rock Crankers are all about helping teens become life long mountain bikers. We give them the skills to be competent and confident on and off the trails. These vital skills are layered upon one another over time and the result is a world full of trails and destinations which become open for exploration.
 
Fidelis Wealth Advisors also share a long-term vision. They understand that investing is about time in the market, not timing the market. Our friends at Fidelis share a passion for youth and realize just how few grow up with good financial literacy. Fidelis has partnered with the Crankers to help train vital financial skills that will not only prevent costly mistakes in life but will set them on a path which leads to a world of destinations and options which are open to the financially secure.
 
Starting early accelerates our potential on bikes and with our finances. The average age someone starts saving for retirement is in their 30’s. By investing earlier and often, a person doesn’t have to invest as much and due to the compounding effect of saving, a decade earlier can have a dramatic effect on one’s retirement. If a person learns good saving and investing habits while in their teens, the sky is the limit.
 
That is why our friends at Fidelis are collaborating with the Crankers and their alumni for the next three years. As our team enters and goes through High School, Fidelis will provide a matching contribution to our organization (up to $2000.00 per year) for every dollar that each Cranker saves or invests, and it doesn’t have to be at Fidelis. In addition, Fidelis will be providing education about savings, investing, debt management, and wealth building to our team by way of newsletters and other communications.
 
Fidelis also offers a host of services for parents and alumni. For those with businesses, Fidelis can provide corporate retirement and 401K plans. They can manage IRA’s, provide investment, estate, retirement, and insurance planning service. Instead of having your IRA whittled away by the large brokers, Fidelis has a fiduciary responsibility to manage your funds, not plunder them.

It’s also important to mention that Castle Rock’s “Big Dog Wraps and Graphics” have provided a partial in-kind sponsorship to the club, by producing an amazing wrap for our trailer.
